Summary: Kathi found herself in a sea of overwhelm with her finances after her husband passed away. This fueled a passion in her to learn finance and educate the world about the importance of talking about finances and how to prepare for your future and work to change the horrible laws that have been in place since the early 1900s. The reality is we are all going to pass away and having a solid plan for those who are left to handle it is a gift we can give our spouses, ourselves and our kids. Don’t overlook this critical part of growing a business and having a full-time job. It is a legacy that matters to get in place so that when the time comes it will be a rock solid plan.

In this episode you will learn about:

  •  Why we need to focus on the care of our future self

  •  What are the basic things you need in place to prepare for your own death and the death of your spouse

  •  Kathi’s experience with financial institutions when her husband passed

  •  Lessons on how to speak to grieving people
